| Greene County Habitat Celebrates 25 Years
In 2010, we celebrated 25 years of building HOMES and building HOPE for Greene County residents. We started work on our 55th home this year and have now provided help to 200 county residents. In the United States alone, 95 million people have housing problems. That's one third of the nation. These problems include payments that are too large a percentage of their income, overcrowding, poor quality shelter, unsafe conditions and homelessness. |
